Overview of MM2H
Requirements and Eligibility Made Easy
You must be at least 25 years old.
A minimum stay of 90 days per year is required, which can be fulfilled by you or your dependents.
All tiers require you to buy a property in Malaysia, a great way to invest in your new home.
You’ll need to open a fixed deposit account with a minimum amount specific to each tier. You can withdraw 50% of this deposit after one year for approved expenses like home purchases, healthcare, and education.
There is no longer a requirement to show proof of regular offshore income or a minimum value of liquid assets. This makes the MM2H program one of the most generous residency options available globally.
